Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini season is live. Epic Games took servers offline for update v43.00 at 1:00 AM ET on November 1, 2026, ending Chapter 7 Season 4, Override. If you haven’t viewed your season stats yet, the Override recap is still worth a look.
Servers returned when Epic marked maintenance complete at 08:12 UTC, which is 3:12 AM ET (1:12 AM PT). That’s about 13 minutes past the 08:00 UTC end time on Epic Games’ status page. Total downtime ran roughly 3 hours 12 minutes.

Why ET clocks show a shorter downtime
US daylight saving time ended at 2:00 AM local time on November 1, in the middle of maintenance. Eastern clocks fell back to 1:00 AM EST at 06:00 UTC. Downtime that started at 1:00 AM ET ended at 3:12 AM ET, which looks like two hours on a wall clock but lasted over three.
Pacific Time didn’t switch until 09:00 UTC, after servers were already up. Several regional charts shared before launch also used summer offsets for the UK and Europe, listing the start an hour late. The UK moved to GMT and central Europe to CET on October 25.
What to do if Fortnite still won’t load
- Install v43.00 first. Matchmaking won’t work on the old build. On PC, open Library in the Epic Games Launcher and confirm the update finished.
- Check Epic’s status page. As of 08:38 UTC, all nine Fortnite services showed as operational, with no open Fortnite incidents.
- Watch @FortniteStatus on X for hotfix or matchmaking notices.
What the Treasure Hunters update adds
v43.00 replaces Override with a One Piece-themed mini season. It also ends Fortnitemares 2026, which arrived with the 42.30 update. Here’s what Epic’s launch post confirms:
- Crossbones Isle, a new 80-player island with locations including Arlong Park, Baratie Bay and Captain’s Cenote
- A new Battle Pass for 800 V-Bucks, led by Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin (see every reward in our Treasure Hunters Battle Pass guide)
- Captain’s Day every week, with A$AP Rocky as the first Boss
- Mastery Monday from 9 AM ET each Monday, with 2x Sprite XP and Sprite Dust
- Luffy, Nami and Usopp in the Item Shop at launch, with a Zoro Cup on November 6

When is the next Fortnite downtime?
