That’s a fast turnaround in the middle of Chapter 7 Season 4, which is already busy with the Resident Evil collab that came back on September 25.
The leak shows more than a skin drop. Epic’s trailer line, “The Fazbear Band has taken over Battle Royale. Face the animatronic animal bosses and survive the night… if you can,” (via Bloody Disgusting) suggests the animatronics will shape Battle Royale gameplay as well as the Item Shop. How the FNAF collab leaked
FNAF has been rumored for Fortnite for years, but the first credible report came on September 13, 2026. Leaker SamLeakss called the collab “100% confirmed” for Halloween, according to esports.gg. The info reportedly came through Rocket League, which shares crossover pipelines with Fortnite. No skin details were known at that point.
Epic’s trailer changed that on September 27. HYPEX then posted the full breakdown on X, listing four outfits with Withered styles, several back blings, instrument cosmetics and a boss transformation mechanic. Most coverage now treats his list as the working lineup.

HYPEX’s list and reports from Forbes and GosuGamers all include the same four outfits. They’re the original FNAF 1 cast, and each one has a Withered style.
1. Freddy Fazbear

Foxy has no matching accessory so far. Epic could still add one before launch, since HYPEX said the leak may not include everything.
What Withered styles mean
The Withered versions come from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, released in November 2014. In that game, the original animatronics are old, stripped-down machines with torn suits and exposed endoskeletons. Withered Bonnie is missing his face and an arm, and Withered Chica has broken jaws and hands.
Every skin in the leak comes with one of these styles, so each outfit effectively gives you two versions of the same character. Withered models are usually more detailed than the clean ones, which makes them among the most interesting styles in the set.

The gameplay details matter most. Leaks point to a Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza POI where security camera feeds and jumpscares copy FNAF’s night-shift setup. Players can reportedly turn into animatronic bosses and hunt other players. That puts this collab closer to the game modes Fortnite players rank highest than to a standard shop drop.
Expected price and release date
Epic has confirmed October 1, 2026, as the release date. The skins should reach the Item Shop the same day as the Fortnitemares update. A widely shared Item Shop date leak also lists all four skins for October 1.
Epic hasn’t announced prices. Recent third-party collab outfits have usually cost 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks each, with a discounted bundle for the full set. Because this set includes a Kicks item and three Back Blings, a four-skin bundle is likely, but that’s still a guess until the shop goes live.
