The next Fortnite Sprite Power Hour should land on Saturday, October 10, 2026, probably at the usual 2 PM and 9 PM ET slots (11:30 PM and 6:30 AM IST). Epic hasn’t named the featured Sprite yet. The most recent one was Bounty Hunter Sprite Power Hours on October 3, the first Fortnitemares 2026 event. Chapter 7 Season 4: Override has had a Power Hour every Saturday since August 22. That’s seven so far, all listed below with times for every region.
What is Fortnite Sprite Power Hour?
Power Hour is Epic’s weekly Saturday event that raises the spawn rate of specific Sprites or Sprite variants. It’s usually split into two two-hour sessions, one in the US afternoon and one at night, so players in other time zones also get a decent window.
Sprites are companions you carry in an inventory slot for a passive ability. You keep a Sprite permanently once you extract it at an Extraction Site. Rare variants like Gold, Cheat Master and Bounty Hunter show up far less often outside Power Hour. That’s why it’s worth planning your Saturday around it.
When is the next Fortnite Power Hour?
Saturday, October 10, 2026, if Epic keeps its pattern. Every Saturday since launch has had one. Epic’s support page also lists Power Hours as a weekly Saturday event, and refers you to Fortnite’s social channels for each week’s featured Sprites.
The featured Sprite hasn’t been announced. Fortnitemares 2026 started October 1 and added the Vampire and Pumpkin Sprites, so a Halloween-themed Power Hour is a reasonable guess. I’ll update this page once Epic confirms it.
Expected October 10 Power Hour times
These follow the same slots as every Season 4 Power Hour. Two time changes matter here: Australia moved to daylight time (AEDT) on October 4, and the UK stays on BST until October 25.

Last Power Hour: Bounty Hunter Sprite (October 3)
The October 3 Power Hour featured 24 Bounty Hunter variants, including Jonesy, Sonic, Shadow, Klombo and the new Vampire Sprite. During both sessions:
- Everyone dropped in with Dual Fiend Hunters.
- Bounty Hunter Sprites spawned more often.
- Chests could drop 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors.
- Eliminations with an equipped variant sped up variant progress, and NPC and bot eliminations counted too.
One catch: you can’t find the Bounty Hunter Crown Sprite during Power Hour. You only get it by winning a match with the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite equipped. If you’re missing that one, you need the Loot Hacker Crown first. More on Loot Hacker below.

Look at the Birthday Power Hour. It ran 2–5 PM and 9 PM–12 AM ET (11:30 PM–2:30 AM and 6:30–9:30 AM IST), so you can’t assume every session is exactly two hours. For every other one this season, the 2 PM and 9 PM ET start times have held, along with the 1-Up Token and Portable Extractor chest drops.
What are the Season 4 Sprite variants?
Override introduced a new generation of Sprites, and with them a new set of variants. Here’s what each one means when it shows up in a Power Hour announcement:

Mastery Monday: the other weekly Sprite event
Power Hour is about finding new Sprites. Mastery Monday is about leveling the ones you already have. According to Epic’s support page, every Monday:
- Legendary and Mythic Sprites appear more often.
- Sprites level up twice as fast.
- Extractions give double Sprite Dust, which you spend to re-summon extracted Sprites or upgrade their powers.
Epic also drops a new Sprite or special variant every Thursday, so the week runs on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday cycle. If you only have one evening, Saturday Power Hour gets you new variants. If you want to level up Sprites you already have, Monday gives more for your time.
What happened to your Season 3 Sprites?
You didn’t lose them, but you can’t take them into Battle Royale matches right now. Epic says Season 3 Sprites became unlocked styles for the Sprite Mastery Pod Back Bling and pilots for the Guardian Outfit. They still show on your collection page, and Epic says past generations “may return down the line.”
The new Sprite Garden is a separate hub for this season’s Sprites. Season 4 catches go there automatically, and you can visit friends’ gardens to show off your collection.
One thing does wipe: Epic confirmed your Gizmos and Sprite Dust reset when the season ends. Override is expected to wrap around Halloween (October 31), so spend your Dust before then instead of saving it.
How to make the most of Power Hour
Two two-hour sessions sound like plenty, but queue times and long rotations eat into them fast. Here’s what’s worked best for me:
- Pick one landing spot near chests and stick to it. Most Power Hour boosts apply to chests (1-Up Tokens, Portable Extractors, boosted variant spawns), so a chest-heavy route beats running after map markers.
- Carry the Portable Extractor through the match. A Sprite only becomes permanent once you extract it, and dying with an unextracted Gold or Bounty Hunter variant is the worst way to end a Power Hour.
- Equip the right variant when progress is tied to eliminations. During Bounty Hunter-style events, bot and NPC kills count, so early-game bots are free progress.
- Skip the session that lands in the middle of your night. In India, the 6:30 AM IST session is a far better option than staying up for the 11:30 PM one.
