As of September 7, 2026, Epic Games has not officially revealed the October Crew Pack. However, Osric and his accompanying cosmetics have already appeared in the game files, giving us a much clearer picture of what subscribers can expect.

Who Is Osric the Uninvited in Fortnite?

Dataminers including HYPEX and FireMonkey surfaced the outfit after Fortnite’s recent update, and the cosmetic is already listed in the game files as part of the Moonlit Hunter set.

The October Crew Pack is expected to contain three matching cosmetics:

However, Fortnite Crew packs normally rotate around the beginning of each month, and availability can vary slightly depending on your region and time zone. For some players, the October Crew Pack may therefore appear on October 1, 2026.

Epic Games has not officially announced Osric or confirmed the exact rollout time yet, so September 30 should still be treated as the expected release rather than a final official date.

Osric the Uninvited Styles

We now know considerably more about Osric’s styles than we did when the outfit first leaked. Along with his base appearance, Osric is expected to support the standard Fortnite Crew Legacy progression system, with five additional styles:

How Do You Unlock Osric’s Legacy Styles?

Fortnite Crew Legacy styles are generally unlocked by remaining an active Crew subscriber over additional months.

You don’t need to maintain an uninterrupted subscription from the moment you receive the outfit. Eligible Crew styles are awarded for each month in which you’re an active Fortnite Crew subscriber until you’ve unlocked all available styles.

So, if Osric follows the standard Crew progression system, you won’t receive all five Legacy variants immediately when the October pack arrives. They’ll unlock progressively through continued Crew membership.

Fortnite Crew currently costs $11.99 per month in the US, although regional pricing may vary.

An active Fortnite Crew subscription includes:

• A monthly Crew Pack with an exclusive Outfit and accompanying cosmetics
• 800 V-Bucks
• Access to the current Battle Pass
• Access to the OG Pass
• Access to the Music Pass
• Access to the LEGO Pass
• Rocket Pass Premium in Rocket League when using the same Epic Games account

That means subscribers in October will also have access to the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass while their Crew subscription remains active. The cosmetics you’ve already claimed remain in your Locker even if you later cancel Fortnite Crew.

However, access to the premium tracks of Fortnite’s included passes depends on having an active Crew membership. Your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period after cancellation, rather than ending immediately when you press Cancel.

Is the October 2026 Fortnite Crew Pack Worth It?

That will largely depend on how much you like Osric’s design. From a cosmetic standpoint, this is one of the more seasonally appropriate October Crew Packs Fortnite has had in recent years.
