Rockstar Games will release an official, printable map of Leonida for free on November 19, 2026, the day GTA 6 launches. The map comes as a digital download alongside a printable cover art poster, so you can put the state that holds Vice City’s confirmed districts on your wall before you play.
Rockstar confirmed the giveaway on November 3, 2026, in its Newswire post on the GTA 6 pre-load. You don’t need to pre-order the game or buy anything to get the digital version. A double-sided physical poster with the map on one side and the cover art on the other also arrives “shortly after launch” on the Rockstar Store. It costs $0.99, or nothing as a free gift with any store purchase.
Steps to download the free GTA 6 map
- On November 19, visit Rockstar’s official GTA VI page.
- Find the printable map of Leonida download on the page.
- Download the map file, and the cover art poster too if you want it.
- Print it at home or send it to a local print shop.

Rockstar hasn’t revealed the file format or print size yet. Check the file’s resolution before you pay for a large print, since a low-resolution file looks blurry when blown up to poster size.
How to get the physical poster free
The printed poster is free only when you add it to another Rockstar Store order. On its own, it costs $0.99. Rockstar hasn’t named a release date beyond “shortly after launch.”
Buying something just to get the poster free costs more than the poster itself. The cheapest GTA VI item on the store is the Holographic Sticker Collection at $4.99, so the free gift only saves money if you were already planning to buy merch. Either way, shipping costs appear at checkout, and buyers outside the US and UK may also pay local duties and taxes.
Before this announcement, the only official full view of Leonida was a souvenir poster inside The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection, a $399.99 collector’s box that doesn’t include the game. The $0.99 poster gives you the same kind of keepsake for a fraction of that price.
The poster doesn’t ship to India
The Rockstar Store currently ships to 31 regions, including the US, Canada, the UK, most of the EU, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Australia. India isn’t on that list, according to Rockstar Support’s shipping page.
For Indian players, the free printable download is the only official option for now. A local print shop can produce it on matte or glossy paper for a fraction of the cost of shipping from abroad.

Boxed copies don’t include a map
Physical GTA 6 editions are code-in-a-box releases with no disc and no paper map, as Push Square reports. It’s a break from GTA 5, which shipped with a paper map of Los Santos in the box. Retail copies reach stores from November 12.
Because the box holds only a code, you still download the full game, which takes up to 212GB on PS5. Our GTA 6 storage guide explains how much free space to clear. Xbox Series X|S pre-loads open at 12 AM GMT on November 10 (4 PM PT / 7 PM ET on November 9), while PS5 pre-loads open at midnight local time on November 10.

Wrapping up
The official map will be the first full layout of Leonida that Rockstar itself has published, rather than one pieced together from trailers. That gives you a real reference before you explore how GTA 6’s map compares to GTA 5’s.
Rockstar could still add the physical poster to other retailers or expand store shipping, but it hasn’t announced either. Until then, the November 19 download is the free and easy route for everyone.
