Five Nights at Freddy’s arrives in Fortnite on October 1, 2026. It’s the headline collab of Fortnitemares 2026, which launches with the v42.30 update in Chapter 7 Season 4. Epic teased it on September 27 with a trailer and the line “IT’S ME! See you October 1.” That teaser became one of the most-viewed posts on Fortnite’s X account.
FNAF fans have asked for this crossover for years. It shares the Halloween lineup with Freddy Krueger, Slender Man, Beetlejuice, The Purge and Black Clover. The animatronics also get something most collab skins don’t: Withered styles. These pull straight from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (November 2014), where the original band returns damaged and missing parts. If you followed the early FNAF skin leaks, this is the final lineup.
What’s in the FNAF Fortnite bundle?
Data miner HYPEX lists 16 items in the collab:
- 4 Outfits: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy
- 4 Back Blings
- 2 Pickaxes
- 2 Emotes
- 1 pair of Kicks (Freddy)
- 1 Wrap
- 2 Instruments (Bass and Microphone)
There’s no Jam Track. The trailer plays The Living Tombstone’s FNAF 1 song, but HYPEX says it won’t be sold in the shop.
All FNAF skins in Fortnite
1. Freddy Fazbear
- Price: 1,500 V-Bucks (leaked)
- Styles: Default, Withered
- Extras: Matching Back Bling, Freddy Fazbear Kicks
Freddy is the face of the collab and leads Epic’s key art. He’s also the only animatronic with his own Kicks. Leakers say his face reacts during gameplay, which suggests the face moves rather than staying a fixed mask.
2. Bonnie the Bunny
- Price: 1,500 V-Bucks (leaked)
- Styles: Default, Withered
- Extras: Matching Back Bling
Bonnie’s Withered style recreates the FNAF 2 version, with the missing faceplate and exposed endoskeleton. Of the four Withered styles, it changes the default look the most.
3. Chica the Chicken
- Price: 1,500 V-Bucks (leaked)
- Styles: Default, Withered
- Extras: Matching Back Bling, reportedly tied to Mr. Cupcake
Chica’s Back Bling likely carries Mr. Cupcake, the small cupcake that sits on her plate in the games. Reports about it conflict, so treat it as unconfirmed until the shop goes live.
4. Foxy the Pirate Fox
- Price: 1,500 V-Bucks (leaked)
- Styles: Default, Withered
- Extras: Back Bling (per HYPEX)
Foxy was the only skin without a confirmed Back Bling in the first leaks. HYPEX’s final breakdown lists four Back Blings, so Foxy apparently gets one too.
FNAF Fortnite prices: every item
| Item | Quantity | Leaked price (each) | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outfits | 4 | 1,500 V-Bucks | 6,000 V-Bucks |
| Back Blings | 4 | 300 V-Bucks | 1,200 V-Bucks |
| Freddy Fazbear Kicks | 1 | 1,000 V-Bucks | 1,000 V-Bucks |
| Pickaxes | 2 | 500 V-Bucks | 1,000 V-Bucks |
| Emotes | 2 | 500 V-Bucks | 1,000 V-Bucks |
| Bass Instrument | 1 | 800 V-Bucks | 800 V-Bucks |
| Microphone Instrument | 1 | 800 V-Bucks | 800 V-Bucks |
| FNAF Wrap | 1 | 500 V-Bucks | 500 V-Bucks |
| Full set | 16 | 12,300 V-Bucks |
These prices match Fortnite’s usual Icon Series pricing. However, Epic hasn’t confirmed any of them.
How much will the FNAF bundle cost in real money?
The full four-skin bundle is expected at around 4,500 V-Bucks. That’s roughly 40% off the separate prices, which follows Epic’s usual collab bundle discount. The number is a community estimate, not a leak from the game files.
Epic’s March 19, 2026 price change makes the math simple:
- 4,500-V-Bucks bundle: Costs exactly one $36.99 pack (4,500 V-Bucks), with nothing left over.
- Single skin (1,500 V-Bucks): The 800-V-Bucks pack ($8.99) isn’t enough, so most players will buy the $22.99 pack (2,400 V-Bucks).
- Full collection (12,300 V-Bucks): Fits inside the $89.99 pack (12,500 V-Bucks) with 200 V-Bucks left over.
Hence, if you want more than one animatronic, the bundle is clearly the better deal. Buying through Epic’s own payment system also returns 20% as Epic Rewards. If you have a gift card, see our guide on how to redeem a V-Bucks card.
FNAF Fortnite release date and time
The FNAF items should hit the Item Shop on October 1, 2026, once the v42.30 downtime ends:
- Downtime starts: 4 AM ET (1 AM PT / 1:30 PM IST)
- Servers expected back: 5 AM to 7 AM ET (2 AM to 4 AM PT / 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM IST)
Event patches often run long, so the shop may update later than the earliest estimate. The skins should stay in the shop for a few days before rotating out. Fortnitemares 2026 runs until November 1, 2026, when Chapter 7 Season 4 ends.
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza POI and boss mode
The collab also changes Battle Royale. The Arcade landmark northeast of The Battlewoods becomes Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a POI with security camera feeds and jumpscares.
Notably, you can transform into an animatronic boss and hunt other players inside the POI. That turns FNAF’s core idea upside down: in the original games you’re the night guard, but here you can play the animatronic. Epic hasn’t shared full boss abilities or loot drops yet.
Signing Off
The FNAF collab stands out because of the Withered styles and the playable boss POI, which go further than a typical skin-only crossover. Exact prices will be known once the shop refreshes after downtime. If you’re saving V-Bucks this month, compare it with the October 2026 Crew Pack before you buy.
