The Kortz Center Heist arrives in GTA Online today, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, as Title Update 1.73, and it’s the first major new Heist the game has seen since Cayo Perico back in December 2020. Rockstar has framed it as a continuation of the recent Mansions update, sending players after the priceless art collection housed inside the Kortz Center gallery, perched in the hills of Pacific Bluffs.
The timing matters. With Grand Theft Auto VI closing in, this could well be the last piece of story content GTA Online ever gets, and Rockstar has treated it that way, tying it to Mr. Faber, the mysterious figure teased as a potential antagonist in the Mansions DLC. Below, you’ll find everything you need to start it: the property requirements, a realistic budget, what your Fine Art Collector rewards unlock today, and the expected rollout time across regions.
What You Need to Host the Kortz Center Heist

To lead the Kortz Center Heist yourself, you need two things: a Mansion property and the new Art Studio extension built onto it. Without both, you can still join a Heist hosted by someone else, but you cannot start or lead your own crew.
Once the Art Studio is in place, it effectively becomes your operation’s headquarters. A skilled art counterfeiter works out of the studio, producing convincing replica paintings that get swapped in for the originals during the robbery itself. From there, players scope out the Kortz Center, photograph target paintings without alerting security, pick an approach out of several available options, and choose custom loadouts before executing a multi-stage infiltration and escape.
The Heist can be run solo or with a crew of up to four players, working alongside Mr. Faber and his fixer, Raf De Angelis. Three new paintings rotate in as targets each week. Stolen Primary Target paintings can either be sold to Mr. Faber (with the best price expected during the week they’re stolen) or kept and displayed in your Art Studio, which doubles as a trophy room.
How Much Cash You Need to Set Aside
Rockstar had not confirmed the Art Studio’s price ahead of launch. Going off how previous heist headquarters have been priced, the Kosatka submarine cost $2.2 million, the Diamond Casino Arcade ran up to $2.5 million, the Doomsday Heist’s Facility started at $1.25 million, and the Auto Shop came in around $1.7 million.
That puts a $2 million to $3 million Art Studio well within expectations, and it lines up with the math behind the Fine Art Collector program’s $1 million discount, which would otherwise be a strangely small cut off a pricier upgrade.
| Situation | Mansion | Art Studio (estimated) | Vehicles and gear | Total budget |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Already own a Mansion | $0 | $2M–$3M | ~$10M | $12M–$15M |
| No Mansion yet | $11.5M+ | $2M–$3M | ~$10M | $25M–$28M |
Figures for vehicles and gear are rough estimates covering the new cars and weapons launching alongside the update. Treat the totals as a planning buffer, and check the in-game price on the Additional Rooms tab of your Mansion now that the update is live.
Mansion Options Through Prix Luxury Real Estate

If you don’t already own a Mansion, three are currently listed through Prix Luxury Real Estate:
1. Tongva Estate
- Base price: $11,500,000
- Fully upgraded: $17.4M
2. Vinewood Residence
- Base price: $12,200,000
- Fully upgraded: $18.1M
3. Richman Villa
- Base price: $12,800,000
- Fully upgraded: $18.7M
GTA+ subscribers get a $2 million discount on any of the three, active as of this writing. None of the base prices include the Art Studio extension, which gets purchased separately once the Mansion is yours.
Fine Art Collector Program: Your Rewards Arrive Today
Rockstar ran the Fine Art Collector Program from June 18 through July 13, closing the day before launch. If you qualified before the deadline, here’s what you get:
1. Enthusiast
- Requirement: Logged in once during the event window
- Reward: $500,000 plus a free Benefactor Turreted Limo from Warstock Cache & Carry, delivered within 72 hours of qualifying
2. Patron
- Requirement: Completed any Heist during the event
- Reward: $1,000,000 plus the NOOSE Outfit, also delivered within 72 hours
3. Elitist
- Requirement: Owned a Mansion and logged in during the event
- Reward: A $1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a Sculpture, and a unique Painting for your Mansion, all conferred today when the Heist launches
The Art Studio discount applies automatically. When you open your Mansion’s Additional Rooms tab, the listed price should already show the reduced total. If it doesn’t, the most likely reason is that your qualifying login didn’t land inside the June 18 to July 13 window.
If you missed the event entirely, there’s no way to claim these rewards now. You’re paying full price for the Art Studio.
Other Ways to Stack Cash
The double GTA$ bunker bonus ended with the event on July 13, but one offer is still live. There’s a 40% GTA$ bonus on Great White, Whale, and Megalodon Shark Card purchases running through August 5, and it needs to be claimed via the Rockstar Games website by July 22.
GTA+ members also get free early access to the new Grotti Veleno GT starting today, a full week before it becomes available to purchase for everyone else, which is one less vehicle to budget for if you’re already subscribed.
Kortz Center Heist Release Time by Region
Rockstar didn’t lock in an exact release time, but GTA Online Title Updates have historically dropped in the early morning Pacific hours. Based on that pattern, expect the update around 2:00 AM PT today.
| Region | Estimated time (July 14) |
|---|---|
| Los Angeles (PDT) | 2:00 AM |
| New York / Toronto (EDT) | 5:00 AM |
| London (BST) | 10:00 AM |
| Berlin / Paris (CEST) | 11:00 AM |
| India (IST) | 3:30 PM |
| China | 6:00 PM |
| Sydney (AEST) | 7:00 PM |
These are estimates based on prior update patterns, not an official schedule, so the actual rollout may shift by an hour or two in either direction. If the update isn’t showing for you yet, restart your game client to force the title update check.
Wrapping Up
The Kortz Center Heist is shaping up as GTA Online’s send-off before Grand Theft Auto VI takes over, and Rockstar’s prep event made it noticeably cheaper to get into than past Heist headquarters for anyone who logged in regularly. Whether this genuinely closes out the game’s storyline or Rockstar has one more surprise queued up, today marks the most significant content drop GTA Online has had in over five years.

The Kortz Center Heist is a new multi-stage art robbery targeting the Kortz Center gallery in Pacific Bluffs, released as Title Update 1.73 on July 14, 2026. Players work with Mr. Faber to swap forged paintings for the gallery’s originals.
It supports solo play or a crew of up to four players. Only the host needs to own the Mansion and Art Studio; everyone else can join for free.
Only if you don’t already own one. You need any Mansion plus the new Art Studio upgrade to host, though you can join someone else’s crew without either.
No. It ran from June 18 through July 13, 2026, the day before the Heist launched. Rewards for players who qualified are delivered within 72 hours (Enthusiast and Patron) or today at launch (Elitist).
The Cayo Perico Heist and the Diamond Casino Heist are the closest comparisons. Both are built around infiltrating one large, guarded target with multiple approach options.
