Roblox’s 20th-anniversary event, The Hunt: Roblox 20, started on September 17, 2026. It runs players through 20 games from the platform’s history, one for each year, and then opens a Year Infinity track. Most of the event’s rewards are free for everyone. The Twentieth Teapot is different: only Roblox Plus subscribers can get it.

It’s also one of the hardest items in the event to get. As of September 26, 2026, Rolimon’s badge tracker shows the Twentieth Teapot badge awarded to only 7,434 players, a 0.2% win rate. That’s because it asks for more badges than any other Plus reward, and the event closes on September 28.

What is The Twentieth Teapot in The Hunt: Roblox 20?

Twentieth Teapot in The Hunt Roblox 20

The Twentieth Teapot is a hat made by Roblox and added to the catalog on September 17, 2026. It’s off-sale and you can’t buy it. Its description hints at the event’s clockwork theme: “It is whispered that this teapot summons the great clockwork… just not very urgently, I guess.”

A dataminer spotted it in the event files under the name “R20_PLUS1_Teapot,” the same naming pattern as the Plus-exclusive Hard Hat. The in-game badge description confirms it: “Awarded to Plus subscribers in The Hunt: Roblox 20.”

The Twentieth Teapot requirements

  • Subscription: Active Roblox Plus membership on the account earning the badges
  • Badges: 40 total (20 main quest badges + 20 secret quest badges)
  • Claim location: The final hub area (Infinity Zone)
  • Deadline: September 28, 2026, 10 AM PT (1 PM ET)

Importantly, Roblox hasn’t officially confirmed the 40-badge threshold. The number comes from community testing and third-party guides, so treat it as the working figure, not a guarantee.

How to Unlock The Twentieth Teapot in The Hunt: Roblox 20

Unlock The Twentieth Teapot in The Hunt Roblox 20
  1. Subscribe to Roblox Plus ($4.99 per month) before you start collecting badges, and keep it active until the hat shows up.
  2. Open The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub and finish all 20 main quests, from Crossroads (2006) to Grow a Garden (2025).
  3. Unlock each game’s secret quest. A secret quest only appears after you’ve earned that game’s main badge.
  4. Solve the clues inside each featured game to find and complete all 20 secret quests.
  5. Go back to the hub and enter the Infinity Zone once your badge count reaches 40.
  6. Open your Avatar Editor, go to Accessories > Hats, and equip The Twentieth Teapot.

If the hat doesn’t appear, leave the hub and rejoin it to refresh your reward status. Then check your inventory again.

All Roblox Plus rewards in The Hunt: Roblox 20

The Teapot is the last of three Plus-only items. The first two come along the way, so you’ll pick them up while working toward the Teapot.

One grind, two rewards

The same 40 badges also unlock Amictus Infinitum, the prismatic cape Roblox gives to everyone who finishes all 20 regular and 20 secret quests. So a Plus subscriber who finishes the whole event gets both the Teapot and the cape.

Players without Plus can still earn Amictus Infinitum and the free UGC items from each game. They just can’t get the Teapot. The Dominus Infinitum went only to the first 20 players who finished the full event, so it’s no longer available.

Tips to finish before the deadline

  • Do the hard secret quests first. Several use puzzles such as emoji ciphers, and some answers differ from player to player, so shared solutions won’t always work.
  • Watch the Piggy gate. The 2021 Piggy quest reportedly won’t open until you’ve finished at least 15 earlier games.
  • Don’t play too close to the deadline. Server load during big Roblox events causes disconnects. If you get kicked, our Roblox keeps crashing fix and error code 529 guide can get you back in quickly.
  • Keep Plus active until the hat is in your inventory. Letting the subscription lapse before the reward registers may cost you the item.

Signing Off

Fewer than 1% of players who’ve earned badges in The Hunt have the Teapot so far, which makes it one of the rarest items of Roblox’s anniversary. The claim window closes on September 28 at 10 AM PT, and Roblox hasn’t said whether the item will come back.

If you’re a Plus subscriber with the main quests done, the secret quests are all that separate you from both the Teapot and Amictus Infinitum.

Is The Twentieth Teapot free?

It costs no Robux, but you need an active Roblox Plus subscription, which is $4.99 per month.

How many badges do you need for The Twentieth Teapot?

You need 40 badges: 20 from main quests and 20 from secret quests. Roblox hasn’t officially confirmed this number.

Can you get The Twentieth Teapot after The Hunt: Roblox 20 ends?

No. The event closes on September 28, 2026, at 10 AM PT (1 PM ET), and the Teapot is off-sale in the catalog.

Does Roblox Premium count for the Teapot?

The badge names “Plus subscribers” specifically. Existing Premium members got a free one-month Plus trial when Plus launched, but Premium on its own isn’t confirmed to qualify.

What other rewards need all 40 badges?

Amictus Infinitum needs the same 40 badges. The Dominus Infinitum also required finishing the full event, but only the first 20 players got it.
