Ambrosia is one of the six regions of Leonida, the state Rockstar built for Grand Theft Auto VI, which launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It sits in central Leonida on the southwest shore of Lake Leonida, inland from Vice City and north of the Grassrivers wetlands. If you’ve followed our GTA 6 vs GTA 5 map comparison, this is the region that fills the state’s agricultural middle.
Rockstar’s official Ambrosia postcard on the GTA VI website, titled “Keeping Leonida Sweet,” frames it as a one-company town. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang, per Rockstar, “provides almost everything else.” Rockstar hasn’t released a labeled in-game map yet, so every position below comes from official postcards, screenshots and trailer geography.
Where Ambrosia is on the GTA 6 map
Ambrosia sits roughly in the center of Leonida, hugging Lake Leonida’s southwestern edge. That makes it the state’s inland crossroads between the coast and the cities.
| Direction | Neighboring region | Status |
|---|---|---|
| North and east | Lake Leonida | Confirmed in official imagery |
| South | Grassrivers wetlands | Fan-mapped from trailer geography |
| Southeast | Vice City | Fan-mapped from trailer geography |
| Northwest | Port Gellhorn | Fan-mapped from trailer geography |
Notably, Game Informer’s September 29, 2026 cover story confirmed Leonida is roughly twice the size of GTA 5’s map. Expect a real drive from Vice City to Ambrosia, not a quick hop.

What’s confirmed in Ambrosia so far
Rockstar’s postcards and screenshots show four things clearly. Everything else is fan analysis.
1. Allied Crystal sugar refinery
- Type: Industrial landmark
- Release status: Confirmed by Rockstar

The refinery dominates the skyline with mills, silos and rail lines. Allied Crystal’s logo also shows up on campaign yard signs for mayoral candidate Erin Henshaw, which suggests the company shapes local politics too. Whether you can enter the refinery remains unconfirmed.

2. Final Chapter MC
- Type: Biker gang
- Release status: Confirmed by Rockstar (name visible in official screenshots)

Final Chapter riders wear yellow and red patches with a skull and wings emblem, an “Ambrosia” chapter rocker and a 1982 founding date. They ride choppers and cruisers. However, Rockstar hasn’t revealed their missions, leaders or whether Jason and Lucia cross paths with them.
3. Sugarcane fields
- Type: Open terrain
- Release status: Confirmed in trailer footage

Flat cane fields surround the town, and a GTA 6 trailer shows one of them on fire. Rockstar hasn’t explained the fire. Real Florida farmers burn cane before harvest, so it may simply be local color rather than a mission.
4. Lake Leonida shoreline and wetlands
- Type: Water and wilderness
- Release status: Confirmed in official imagery

Waterways and marsh vegetation line the town’s edge. Apart from boats seen across Leonida trailers, Rockstar hasn’t confirmed specific lake activities such as fishing.
The real Florida town behind Ambrosia
Ambrosia closely mirrors Clewiston, Florida, a sugar town on the southwest shore of Lake Okeechobee and home of U.S. Sugar. Rockstar hasn’t named its inspiration, but the matches are hard to dismiss.
| Clewiston, Florida | Ambrosia, Leonida |
|---|---|
| Lake Okeechobee | Lake Leonida |
| U.S. Sugar refinery | Allied Crystal refinery |
| “America’s Sweetest Town” | “Keeping Leonida Sweet” |
| Pre-harvest cane burning | Burning field in the trailer |
This matters for your first visit. Real Clewiston sits about two hours northwest of Miami by highway, through flat farmland. If Rockstar kept that layout, expect long, straight inland roads between Vice City and Ambrosia, which suit fast cars and bikes. Our breakdown of GTA 6 vehicle customization covers what you can tune for that kind of drive.
What Rockstar hasn’t confirmed about Ambrosia
Several popular claims online have no official backing yet:
- A labeled in-game map with exact borders
- Ambrosia-specific story missions or side activities
- Fishing, airboat tours or monster truck events tied to the town
- Final Chapter MC drug, smuggling or weapons operations
- Enterable refinery interiors
Treat any guide stating these as fact with caution until launch day. Rockstar did tell Game Informer that Leonida is denser and more interactive than GTA 5, with extra attention on interiors, so some of this could turn out true.
Signing Off
Ambrosia is currently one of the most clearly defined regions in Leonida, thanks to its refinery, biker club and real-world roots in Clewiston. Its exact borders and missions, however, stay under wraps until Rockstar’s launch.
Once GTA 6 arrives on November 19, Ambrosia could play a bigger role in story beats tied to small-town power. If you plan to explore it early, our list of GTA 6 activities you can spend money on shows where your cash may go across Leonida.
Ambrosia is an industrial sugar town in central Leonida. The Allied Crystal refinery employs most residents, and the Final Chapter MC biker gang holds influence over the rest.
Leonida has six main regions: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
Not yet. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar hasn’t announced a PC version.
Rockstar hasn’t said so, but Ambrosia closely mirrors Clewiston, Florida, a sugar town on Lake Okeechobee that calls itself “America’s Sweetest Town.”
Final Chapter MC is the only biker club named in official material so far. Other factions across Leonida remain largely unconfirmed ahead of launch.
