The Persona 5 Joker skin costs 1,800 V-Bucks in Fortnite, and the free cup has ended. Here's what the pack includes and why the bundle is better value.

The Phantom Thieves arrived in Fortnite on September 25, 2026, as part of Chapter 7 Season 4, titled Override. Joker, the Persona 5 Royal protagonist, leads the collab alongside Panther (Ann Takamaki) and a Morgana Sidekick, with a 15-item bundle sitting in the Item Shop.

Two routes existed for Joker. The free one, the Persona 5 Royal Cup, closed on September 26, 2026. That leaves the Item Shop as the only way to unlock him right now, and the real question is which purchase gives you the most for your V-Bucks. Here’s the breakdown.

Persona 5 Joker skin price in Fortnite

Joker sells as a pack, not a standalone outfit. The Joker (Persona 5) Pack costs 1,800 V-Bucks and includes:

  • Joker (Persona 5) Outfit
  • Joker’s Transformation Emote
  • Shujin Academy Backpack Back Bling
  • Silver Dagger Pickaxe

If you want the full collab, the Persona 5 Royal Bundle costs 3,800 V-Bucks, marked down from a combined value of 9,600 V-Bucks. It adds the Panther outfit, the Morgana Sidekick, Morgana Slippers kicks, the Carmen’s Heart back bling and Carmen’s Heart Flail pickaxe, Panther’s Showtime emote, Carmen’s Microphone, the Phantom Thieves Guitar, Joker’s Eyes and Panther’s Eyes wraps, and the “Life Will Change” Jam Track.

Note that pre-launch coverage widely reported 1,500 V-Bucks for Joker and 3,200 V-Bucks for the bundle. Those were estimates. The live Item Shop prices are 1,800 and 3,800.

  2. Find the Persona 5 Royal section.

Joker Pack vs full bundle: Which one to buy

The math favors the bundle for anyone who wants more than Joker. Panther also costs 1,800 V-Bucks on her own, so buying both outfits separately runs 3,600 V-Bucks. The bundle costs only 200 V-Bucks more and throws in the Morgana Sidekick, which alone sells for 1,500 V-Bucks.

Real-money cost also matters here, because Epic cut V-Bucks per pack on March 19, 2026. The $8.99 pack now gives 800 V-Bucks, the $22.99 pack gives 2,400, and the $36.99 pack gives 4,500. Starting from zero:

PurchaseV-Bucks neededCheapest packLeftover V-Bucks
Joker (Persona 5) Pack1,800$22.99 (2,400)600
Persona 5 Royal Bundle3,800$36.99 (4,500)700

For $14 more, you get the entire collab instead of one character. Additionally, Epic Rewards returns 20% of real-money purchases made through Epic’s own payment system and trims the effective cost further.

Can you still get Joker for free?

No, not anymore. Epic gave the Joker set away through the Persona 5 Royal Cup, a solo tournament held on September 25, 2026, across Reload, Zero Build Reload, and Mobile playlists. Players had to finish above a regional cutoff, which ranged from top 30 on Mobile in Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East to top 1,000 in Europe’s main playlists.

The cup rewarded the same four items as the paid pack: the outfit, emote, back bling, and pickaxe. Players who scored at least 8 points (5 on Mobile) also earned the Metaverse Navigator emoticon. Epic hasn’t announced a second cup, so treat any “free Joker” claim now as a scam.

Morgana Sprite vs Morgana Sidekick

These are two different things, and buying one doesn’t unlock the other. The Morgana Sidekick is a cosmetic from the Item Shop. The Morgana Sprite is a free, Epic-rarity gameplay item added in the v42.20 hotfix on September 24, 2026.

You find the sprite in Rare Chests and Cheat Code terminals during Battle Royale matches, and you must extract it before the match ends. It boosts healing items by 15% at Level 1, scaling up to 100% at Level 5. It also has five variants, including Gold Morgana (3x elimination XP) and Cheat Master Morgana. Our full sprites guide covers how extraction works.

How long will Joker stay in the Item Shop?

Epic hasn’t published an exit date, and some outlets expect the set to rotate out in October 2026. Collab sets rarely stay long, so buy sooner rather than later if you want Joker. Items do return eventually, though Epic rarely announces when. Once the collab leaves, you’ll get better value from the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass or the upcoming October 2026 Crew Pack.
