Epic added the Morgana Sprite to Fortnite with the September 24, 2026 hotfix. It arrived a day before the Persona 5 Royal skins, Joker and Ann Takamaki, went on sale in the Item Shop on September 25. The cat from the Phantom Thieves joins a busy Chapter 7 Season 4 roster that already includes the Mega Man Sprite and the Sonic crew.
Most sprites this season help you move faster, find loot, or track enemies. Morgana makes your healing items stronger. At level 5, it doubles them, so a 50-shield potion gives you 100 shield. Fortnite Underground described it as “almost scary how good it is,” and that’s hard to argue with in endgame fights where one heal can decide who wins.
What does the Morgana Sprite do in Fortnite?

Epic hasn’t published the in-between numbers, so treat levels 1 to 4 as community figures for now. The level 5 number (double healing) is confirmed by several sources and matches in-game testing.
The shield math matters because shields are where Morgana helps most. A healing item that already takes you to full health gains nothing from the boost. Shield potions and small heals, on the other hand, give you about twice the value at max level. In practice, a level 5 Morgana means you carry half as many shield items for the same result, which frees up inventory slots for weapons or utility.
How to get the Morgana Sprite in Fortnite
Morgana isn’t locked to a single spot on the map. Like other Epic sprites this season, it comes from the regular sprite loot pool:
- Open Cheat Codes on the map. Rare and Epic Cheat Codes give the best odds for Epic-tier sprites like Morgana.
- Loot Chests and Rare Chests, especially the ones inside Temple Vaults.
- Land at high-loot POIs where Cheat Codes spawn in clusters. Golden Grove and Cluster Coast are the most common picks.
- Eliminate a player carrying Morgana and grab it from their drop.
- Trade with a friend who pulled an extra copy.
Early estimates put Morgana’s spawn rate at about 2.2%, so expect to open quite a few Cheat Codes before you find one. Once you have it, extract it from the match to add it to your collection.
At the time of writing (September 25, 2026), no official Admin Panel code gives out Morgana. Videos claiming a “Morgana code” haven’t lined up with any code Epic has actually released. Check our Fortnite Admin Panel codes list before you try one you saw on YouTube.
All Morgana Sprite variants
Morgana comes in five versions. The variant doesn’t change the healing boost, but it changes how you level the sprite and what extra perk you get.
1. Morgana Sprite

2. Gold Morgana Sprite
- How it levels: Earns 3x Sprite XP from eliminations
- Extra perk: The fastest way to reach level 5 if you play aggressively
3. Cheat Master Morgana Sprite
- How it levels: Standard Sprite XP
- Extra perk: Tied to the Cheat Code system, and spawns more often during Cheat Master Power Hours
4. Loot Hacker Morgana Sprite
- How it levels: Standard Sprite XP
- Extra perk: Linked to Loot Hacks and better item spawns
5. Bounty Hunter Morgana Sprite
- How it levels: Earns XP only through combat
- Extra perk: Part of the Bounty Hunter set, which drops from eliminations at a rate of about 7%
If you play for wins, the Gold variant is the one to chase. Morgana’s value depends almost entirely on its level, and Gold turns every elimination into three times the progress.
How to level up Morgana faster
A level 1 Morgana adds only 15%, so leveling it up is where its value comes from. These three changes make that quicker than it was earlier in the season:
- Duplicates now feed XP. Since the September 4, 2026 update, extracting a sprite you already own sends Sprite XP to your copy. Every extra Morgana you find counts toward leveling.
- Mastery still needs one more run. Duplicates can get Morgana to level 5, but you have to take that copy into a match and extract it again to earn Mastery.
- Mastery Mondays cut costs. They came back on September 7, 2026, and reduce resummon costs by 50% once a sprite reaches Mastery.
Also keep an eye on the Sprite Power Hour schedule. These sessions boost spawns for Gold and Cheat Master variants, which makes them the best window to farm a Gold Morgana.
Is the Morgana Sprite worth using?
For most players, yes. The sprites that give you mobility or scouting help at every stage of a match, while Morgana only helps once you start healing. But healing decides most late-game fights, and doubling your shield items effectively doubles the healing space in your inventory. It stacks well with aggressive play: you take a fight, heal back to full with fewer items, and move on before the next squad arrives.
Morgana is weaker at low levels, though. A fresh copy at +15% barely changes anything. Until you reach level 3, a mobility sprite or the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite may do more for you.
